Installing Lua Scripts

  1. Download the .lua file from the product page
  2. Open DaVinci Resolve and go to Workspace → Scripts
  3. Place the file in the appropriate scripts folder:
    %AppData%\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Fusion\Scripts\Utility (Windows)
    ~/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Fusion/Scripts/Utility (macOS)
  4. Restart DaVinci Resolve
  5. Find the script under Workspace → Scripts

Installing Fusion Fuses

  1. Download the .fuse file from the product page
  2. Place it in your Fuses folder:
    %AppData%\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Fusion\Fuses (Windows)
    ~/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Fusion/Fuses (macOS)
  3. Restart DaVinci Resolve
  4. The fuse will appear in the Fusion page's tool list

Frequently Asked Questions

Do your tools work with the free version of DaVinci Resolve?

Some do, some don't — it depends on the tool. Free Resolve has limited scripting support, so scripts that use UIManager dialogs require Resolve Studio. Each product page clearly states whether it works with the free edition.

Where possible, we provide alternative workflows or companion web tools for free Resolve users.

Which version of DaVinci Resolve do I need?

Most tools are built for DaVinci Resolve 18 and above. Specific version requirements are listed on each product page. If you're running an older version and aren't sure, get in touch before purchasing.

I bought a tool and it's not working. What do I do?

First, make sure you've placed the file in the correct folder and restarted Resolve. Check the product page for any specific setup instructions.

If it's still not working, contact me with your Resolve version, operating system, and a description of what's happening. I'll sort it out.

Can I get a refund?

Digital products can't be returned once downloaded, so we don't offer refunds as standard. However, if a product is genuinely faulty or doesn't work as described, contact me within 14 days and I'll make it right — either by fixing the issue or refunding you.

Do I get free updates?

Where stated on the product page, yes. When Resolve releases a major update that breaks compatibility, I do my best to update tools promptly. Free products are updated on a best-effort basis.

Can I use these tools on multiple computers?

Free tools — yes, install them anywhere you like. Paid tools are licensed per user, not per machine, so you can install on your desktop and laptop under the same licence.
